This couple was SO fun to photograph!! They were up for anything.....which always makes it so much more fun to do some really different shots. We left town at 5:30am to beat the sun, which most couples are NOT up to doing. It was SO cold outside, and Jillian had no problem walking around in her sleeve-less dress. They are from Canada, so I guess they were a bit more used to much colder weather than it was that morning, but I was bundled up in a down coat, and was still cold! Anyway, I had such a great time during this shoot, and I'm so excited about the images we were able to get. I had a hard time deciding which ones to put up on here....there were so many more I just loved! It always helps to have a beautiful couple who have the same style in mind.
This adorable little boy gave me quite the work out! At the beginning of the session I was trying to keep up with him.....well, get in front of him so as he was running around I could capture his cute little expressions, but I just couldn't keep up! By the end of the session I was waiting for him to run towards me to capture his smile. At one point he thought it was SO FUNNY to try to take a swing at the camera. I popped out from behind the lens with a "Peek-A-Boo" and that made him laugh even harder. We kept that up for a minute or two before he decided that running around was more fun. At the end of the session I asked him to give his panda bear a kiss. He got so serious and gave the bear a good peck on the nose. He was such a character. :)
This beautiful little girl is Emily. She was not a happy camper for the unclothed shots, but as soon as she had clothes on, she was as happy as could be. Even then, there were still some beautiful shots of her. She will have fun growing up with her brothers. They are so silly and very entertaining!
This past Saturday I had a photography session out at Red Rock. There were some great pictures that turned out. I just loved the last image of the little boy giving his cousin a kiss.
This adorable little boy is one of my Baby's First Year babies. As I say with all of them, I can't believe how fast he's growing up! It seriously seems like only a couple of months ago when I shot his mom's maternity portraits! Kye is so darn cute, and makes so many expressions. He was SO smiley to me before I pulled my camera out, then he didn't even want to look at me! There are still some great shots, and I was able to sneak a few of him looking at me! :)
I had so much fun photographing this cute family! I just loved the turnout of the picture with the tutu and beanie, as well as the fire truck picture.....well, I actually loved them all! I had such a hard time choosing only a few pictures to put up here!
This beautiful little girl is one of my Baby's First Year babies. It has been amazing photographing her throughout this first year. She has grown into such a beautiful little girl. This was her 9-month session out at Red Rock Canyon.
This adorable little boy was so fun to photograph. He was just so cute and photogenic and he was full of spunk! Might I add that as I was editing the images on the computer, my 3 year old daughter came in the room and was watching. As she stood there, she said, "Mommy, he's so cute!" This is the first boy she's ever told me she thought was cute!
These two beautiful sisters have been coming to me for the past year. They are always fun to photograph. I just can't believe how fast they are growing!
I started doing photography in July of '05. I absolutely could not have dreamed for a better career. I love meeting all the new people and making friends!! I decided to start this blog because, well, for one it seems that all the photographers have one, so I thought I'd join in. :) And two, it's kind of a more relaxed environment where I can write about the sessions. I'm kind a talker, so in turn, I also write a lot of what I'm thinking. Anyway, enjoy the blog, and please feel free to leave comments. I love to read them!!!
